Hey all. Sorry for the infrequent updates lately. With a new semester comes new challenges, but I have finally finished the About Me, Resume and Portfolio pages here.

As of tomorrow later today, I will officially begin my senior honors thesis. That should give me plenty of topics worthy of a blog post, so expect to see more of me then.

With that said, I’m in desperate need of sleep. Happy Martin Luther King Jr., Day, and enjoy your time off.

Edit: It’s worth mentioning that “Pret A Manger” is a UK-based sandwich shop, not a typo.

Facebook Connect: The Lord of the Login

“One login to rule them all, one login to find them,
One login to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.”

Facebook Connect’s increasing ubiquity has me a bit worried. Sure, it’s convenient, but do we really want one organization to not only have all the information we provide to it directly, but also have access to our activities on other sites?

So-Called "Digital Natives" Not Media Savvy, New Study Shows

Despite the small sample size, I’d say this is probably true. It shocks me how many people don’t know how to find reliable sources or correctly write and cite a paper.
